Alan Jones is a graduate of the Irish College of Humanities a Science (I.C.H.A.S.) where he completed a B.A. Degree in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Psychometric Testing. As part of his degree programme, Alan has completed 1250 hours of skills training tutorial contact as well as 250 hours of clinical practice. Additionally Alan has a strong interest in Psychosynthesis and his approach of work ties in with this method. Psychosynthesis is an integrative psychology that combines eastern wisdom about the self with western knowledge of the unconscious. This approach has been described as the psychology of the Self. Alan is a full member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists Ireland (A.P.C.P.) and adheres to the Code 0f Ethics and supervision of the organization. My Experience I have vast experience working in the counselling framework Over the past ten years he has worked within his own private practice, also he has worked with various organisations such as Saoirse Treatment centre in limerick city and Merchants Quay Homelessness/Addiction services in Co Laois. Alan has attained invaluable skills and knowledge which has shaped a very direct, clinical and professional approach for helping individuals and groups.
