Rivendell bed and breakfast is set in 26 acres of fields and woodland. It is peaceful and tranquil. There is my vegetable garden and orchard. I have a few animals including sheep, pygmy goats,two horses and hens which keep me going with fresh eggs for breakfast. I have three double rooms and one twin room, all of which have their own en-suite, hospitality tray, flat screen TV, free WI-FI and a nice view, two of the rooms overlook the pond and two overlook the gardens. I have an Indian restaurant within my premises which is open to guests.I use the fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden in the Indian cooking. I am able to serve wine and Indian beers. Breakfast ingredients are sourced locally and I serve both cooked and continental breakfast. I do alot of business with Cavan Equestrian Centre and we have stables for rent. If you are looking for peace and quiet but still only a 12 minute drive from Cavan town then Rivendell is just this.
