Counselling Service: Helplink’s qualified, Garda vetted counsellors are available for appointment 7 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and 12 to 6 pm Saturday/Sunday. Our qualified (minimum Level 8), supervised, insured and Garda vetted Counsellors have provided over 2,500 appointments online/by phone nationally and face-to-face (Galway).Irish Abroad Service (Cabhrú): with the support of the Minister for Diaspora, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the GAA and other agencies we provide a free online counselling service for Irish people abroad; beginning with Australia. We aim to expand the counselling service to other countries such as the USA, UAE, Europe etc.My Way Programme: My Way is a programme for the long term unemployed and other groups from the community. The programme provides free comprehensive career coaching, psychometric testing and evidence-based occupational mental health skills-training.Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) & Careers Service: In our EAP we provide workshops for companies/organisations on how to reduce stress and increase positive communication among staff and between staff and customers. The EAP also provides a unique pay-as-you-go Staff Counselling Service which is available 7 days a week, face-to-face in Galway City and online or by phone nationwide. Furthermore, in our connected Careers Service provided one-to-one, low cost Career Guidance/Coaching workshops -available online nationwide and face-to-face in Galway City.Health and Support Services Directory: our free-to-use online directory of health and support services nationwide was developed in 2013 and has over 176,000 users. The directory has over 5,000 listings and a free text service.Conflict Resolution Centre (CRC): In our CRC there is a donation based Mediation Service for people dealing with family/housing or community disputes. The CRC has also developed and piloted a programme for the community groups.
