Glasheen Boys' School is conveniently located in the western suburbs of Cork City. The school is close to U.C.C., Cork University Hospital, Wilton Shopping Centre, Bon Secours Hospital and within walking distance of Cork City centre. The school shares a campus with Glasheen Girls' School. The school is bright and welcoming, with outstanding facilities. We are fortunate to have a dedicated staff, an extremely supportive Parents' Association and wonderful pupils. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and there is a top of the range I.T. suite. There are bright displays throughout the school. As well as high academic achievements, Glasheen Boys' pupils are experiencing phenomenal success in extra curricular areas, for example, All-Ireland Quiz Finalists for the last 5 years, Cork Sciath na Scol Football & Hurling Champions for the past 3 years, Barber Cup Tennis Champions for the past 2 years, Port of Cork Competition winners in 2010 and Runners Up in 2011, All-Ireland Finalists in Eco-Unesco Environmental Awards 2011. Glasheen Boys' School is leading the way in I.T., as well as being a recipient of several Green Flags and a Health Promoting School.
