Wenden Kennels is a fully licensed establishment with over 25 years of experience, which offers a year round welcome to dogs of all breeds and cross-breeds. Set in two acres of the Dublin Mountains, Wenden Kennels is only a 10 minute drive from Rathfarnham Village, Tallaght and the M50 motorway. For obvious holiday periods, Christmas, Easter and May through to September you are advised to book a minimum of two months prior to travel to avoid disappointment. We have a variety of accommodation to suit the differing natures of dogs. Each dog is individually cared for in secure individual kennels (at the request of owners dogs from the same household can be accommodated together). All dogs are exercised under supervision within securely fenced exercise areas. During the day, if not being exercised then the dogs are housed in covered individual runs in a courtyard design which allows the dogs to see and hear other dogs and to express their normal behaviour patterns. At night each dog is brought inside into their individual sleeping quarters where sleeping baskets are provided. This regime ensures the dogs have maximum interaction with staff members.
